- Cost estimation is a calculating process of working volume, material cost, and workers in a construction project. Cost index used in the calculation analysis of working unit cost refers to the Indonesian National Standard. The standard describes the average worker productivity in Indonesia. Productivity varies based on experience, culture, etc. The purpose of the study is to examine the cost index of workers in Lamongan Regency by selecting a case study on the building construction of Lamongan Regency Government. Cost index of reinforced concrete works on this project so that it is obtained by making an observation. The observation consists of the total of workers and working hours which are needed to finish the projects, especially columns, beams, and plates. The projects are initiated from formwork, supporting the process with the iron bar, and casting. Mainly, the study applies descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the coefficient of worker salary is smaller than the Indonesian National Standard.
