- This research aimed at describing the effectiveness of ATI learning model that reviewed from the students’ learning style in the mathematics learning at Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 2 Malang. The kind of research was qualitative descriptive and the qualitative approach was used with the whole students of 8th-C class in Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 2 Malang as the population. The effectiveness data of ATI learning model was viewed from 1) the teacher’s activities to manage the learning that used the ATI learning model, 2) the students’ activities during the mathematics learning that used the ATI learning model, 3) the students’ responses of the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles after being implemented by the ATI learning model, and also 4) the students’ mathematics learning outcomes of the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles after being implemented by the ATI learning model. The results of this research indicated that the teacher’s activities to manage the learning by using the ATI learning model were categorized as good. Then, the students’ activities during the learning that used the ATI learning model was in the good category and the students’ responses of the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles toward the ATI learning model were in the very good category, and also the students’ learning outcomes of the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles after using the ATI learning model was in the high category or complete both individually and classically.
