- South Korea is known as one of the centers of the beauty industry in the world. There are three kinds of beauty industry in this country, the first is the cosmetic and personal care industry (k-beauty), the second is the fashion industry, the third is the plastic surgery industry. The third industry, called the plastic surgery industry, is the main idea of this research. This industry has been reflected through Korean popular culture programs. The purpose of this research is to see how the Korean pop culture program, especially the Let Me In program, acts as an instrumental in promoting the South Korean plastic surgery industry. This reserach uses descriptive methods that are analyzed using the concepts of public diplomacy, economic improvement, and Korean pop culture. The data from this reserch are based on library data in the form of books, research journals, and online sources. The results of the reserch shows that public diplomacy carried out by South Korea through plastic surgery technology aim to inform and increase the level of understanding of the international community about the culture of plastic surgery in Korea and introduce the Korean beauty perspective called innocent glamor.
