  • Research on the use of beer pulp toward consuming dry feed and the weight increment of local male sheep was conducted withing 2 months, from November 2018 to Januari 2019. This research was conducted in Kelandungan village, Landungsari, Malang. It aimed to find out the influence of mixing the beer pulp toward dry feed consumption and the increasing weight of local male sheep. Object of this research is 20 1.5-years local male sheep by weight around 12 to 15 kg. The sheep is classified into 4 groups that each of the group consists of 5 local male sheep. The variable of consuming dry feed is measured in kg/sheep/day unit measurement and the weight increment in kg/sheep/day unit during 6 weeks. Method of this research is experimental. It uses Randomized Block Design. Treatment in this research has 5 levels. Those are P0= 100% green feed, P1= 75% green feed + 10% polar + 10% corncob + 10% beer pulp, P2= 50% green feed + 10% polar + 5% corncob + 35% beer pulp, P3= 25% green feed + 10% polar + 5% corncob + 60% beer pulp, P4= 10 % polar + 5 % corncob + 85% beer pulp. Data analysis used ANAVA. If the treatment has significant influence to observed change, it will use further test of BNT. Result of this research shows that the use of beer pulp for local male sheep to increase its consumption of dry feed has significant influence (P<0,01). The highest dry feed consumption is P4. It has 0,709 kg/sheep/day average. The use of the beer pulp for increasing weight local male sheep has significant influence (P<0,05), where the highest increment is P3 and P4. It has 0,0775 kg/sheep/day average.
