  • This design aimed to find out how much the cost of producing a microhydro power plant that used pelton turbines. Analysis of total production costs obtained from the accumulation of several cost analyzes, including the costof raw materials, fabrication costs, and unexpected costs during the production process of pelton turbines for microhydro power plants. To get a fabrication cost analysis, it was necessary to know in advance how long the the production process take place. Thus, it can be determined how much the engine rental, operator cost, and energy cost incurred during the pelton turbine production process. The data designed of a microhydro power plant is in accordance with the actual conditions. The data includes 0,06 m^3⁄(s )water discharge, 12 m effective head, and 2,379 m^2. The total production costs obtained from the accumulation of several analyzes costs Rp. 23.380.560,5,- produced electric power of 2,543 kW according to the design data obtained. Afterwards, making a model of a microhydro power plant was used as a means to find out the performance of an energy conversion engine.
