- Agriculture is one of the fields that requires the development of processing technologies for alternative energy sources, including irrigation pumps without fuel, so far farmers use centrifugal pumps for irrigation purposes, small and medium sized, the drivers used are piston fuel motors that use materials fuel oil (BBM). In Sumbawa province NTB, it is an area that only utilizes river water discharge to irrigate its fields in the rainy season, the water discharge is quite abundant, but the area itself is very hot so the water is very easy to evaporate, the area itself can only use water for agriculture in the rainy season at the beginning of the first 6 months, or only 2 times per year, in the next 6 months rice fields will only become barren land that is not utilized because of insufficient water availability. In this design it will produce a design of a wind turbine for a water pump that will produce water of 3 liters / second. The dimensions of the rotors designed are 3,313 m2 using curved blades.
