- Routing protocols on VANET are divided into several categories including: topology-based, position-based, geocast-based, broadcast-based, and cluster-based routing protocols. Position-based routing protocols work by taking the position or location of the vehicle from the map, GPS (Global Positioning System). GPSR (Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing) and GPCR (Greedy Perimeter Coordinator Routing) are included in position based routing protocols. Congestion is a common problem in big cities today. Some of the factors that cause congestion include the number of roads that are insufficient, the number of vehicles that exceed capacity at a time, uneven distribution of vehicles, and so on. From this problem, the research was carried out by comparing the performance of two routing protocols with load balancing schemes, accompanied by a scenario of speed effects, node changes, variations of the sender-receiver node, and variations in transmission distance. In terms of QoS analysis, the two routing protocols are compared to determine the performance of the best routing protocol. The performance of the GPSR and GPCR routing protocols offset each other in the scenario of node variations and consistent variations in speed. However, in the scenario of the variation of the sender-receiver node and the transmission distance variation scenario, the performance of the GPCR routing protocol is better in terms of throughput and delay, with the highest throughput value of 4124.87 in the scenario of sending node and 899,978 variations in the transmission distance variation scenario. Whereas for the delay value in the scenario of the variation of the sender-receiver node and the variation of the transmission distance is 1.15152 and 1.88889
