- PT. Malindo Intitama Raya is a manufacturing company that produces furniture. The output is a plastic cabinet. After got observations and interviews at PT. Malindo Intitama Raya it is know that there are process that make output not in accordance with expectation or the product has defect. One method that can be used in improving business processes that aims to find and reduce the factors that cause disability is Six Sigma. DMAIC is the stage in this research. In the Analyze stage, the Root Cause Analysis is tool that used to find out the root of the problem that occurred. The results of the research are the machine settings did not match with the SOP, the raw materials did not meet. The standards, the lack of foreman skills and foreman were less focused at work. The proposed improvements are to improve training for foreman, conduct preventive maintenance so that the engine does not experience damage during the production process, examine raw materials received from suppliers carefully, make clear and detailed SOPs for easy understanding and check the machine before starting work .
