- The Government of the People's Republic of China has the ambition of cooperating with other countries in the infrastructure sector especially the fast trains. This is evidenced by President Xi Jin Ping's idea of the One Belt One Road which aims to increase trade and connect the People's Republic of China with other countries. One of the ways in which the People's Republic of China is by cooperating in the infrastructure sector, for example, is the Jakarta-Bandung high speed railway construction project. High speed railway was made by the People's Republic of China as instrument for cooperation with Indonesia. This is research will explain the interest of People’s Republic China through the International Political Economy Theory by Susan Strange. This research as explanatory research with documentation method of data collection. The result of this research tells that the interest of People’s Republic of China against Indonesia on the Jakarta-Bandung high speed railway project has been based on to increase trade, receiving benefits, maintain economic stability, and show that the People's Republic of China has exact high speed railway technology applied in Indonesia.
