  • Background : Overweight is a multi factor of disease caused by the accumulation of abnormal amounts of fat or excess. The fundamental cause of the occurrence of overweight is the lack of physical activity and accompanied by excess diet by consuming foods that are high in carbohydrates, protein, fat and low in fiber. Body fat percentage is the total percentage of body fat weight against body weight.There is some effort to lose body fat percentage namely High Intensity Interval Training and Resistance Training. Method : This research used pre experiment methods with one group pretest postest design. Research subject is overweight students in Gontor Female College Five Kediri. with total 33 respondents.The treatment were performed 3 times a week for 4 weeks. This research used a Bioelectric Impedance Analysis to measure the body fat percentage of the samples. The data analysis used wilcoxon signed rank test. Result : Wilcoxon signed rank test was p = 0,014 (p < 0,05), and obtained result the combination result of High-Intensity Interval Training and Resistance Training able to reduce the student’s body fat percentage. Conclusion : There is an influence High-Intensity Interval Training and Resistance Training able to reduce the student’s body fat percentage in Gontor Female College Five Kediri.
