- Agriculture is an important sector in the national economy in Indonesia. Including carrot plants that enter the horticulture sub-sector. Carrot plants are a popular plant. The purpose of this study was 1) To analyze the income of carrot farming in Pujon Subdistrict, Ngabab Village, Malang Regency. 2) Analyze the level of efficiency in the use of carrot farming production factors in Pujon Subdistrict, Ngabab Village, Malang Regency. Determination of the location of the study was done intentionally (purposive sampling) with the consideration that Ngabab is a mountain village that is very suitable with carrot plants and has the potential of a large carrot plant. The sample appearance technique in this study was done by purposive sampling or simple random sampling, where all members of the population were considered the same, the number of farmers who were taken were 60 respondents in the village of Ngabab. The analysis used is an analysis of the costs, income, and efficiency of farming. The results of the analysis showed an average production of 21.398 Kg / Ha per season, with an average total cost of Rp 53.695.588 / Ha per season and an average income of Rp 21.197.295 / Ha per season with an R / C ratio of 1, 40 which shows R / C> 1 so that means carrot farming is feasible to cultivate.
