- The Android operating system is currently one of the many operating systems on smartphones that are experiencing rapid growth in the world, especially in Indonesia. PT Adaro Indonesia, a company engaged in coal mining, requires information media that can be accessed online in addition to the website, namely through a smartphone. Therefore this study focuses on how to make a mobile e-reporting application on an Android smartphone, by taking data from the website, and then displaying it into an application, using the HTTP Connection and JSON Parsing methods. Making applications using the Java programming language, with the help of Android Studio tools, Microsoft Visual Studio to build RESTful Web Service, and Microsoft SQL servers. In this research, RESTful Web Service is a collection of C # source code, the contents of which are queries to retrieve data from the website whose results are encoded into JSON form.
