  • Life at night or the night world becomes life for some students to visit a variety of nightlife venues, one of which is a nightclub. Students, in general, do not want outsiders or the campus environment to find out. This study uses Erving Goffman's theory of dramaturgy. Erving Goffman stated that the existence of the front stage and the backstage in every human life. This study aims to determine the appearance of clubbers in nightclubs and on campus, as well as differences in appearance in both places. This study uses qualitative methods and types of case study research. The researcher used a snowball sampling technique to get information from one informant to another informant. Based on that, the researchers obtained four research subjects. The technique of collecting data is done by thorough interviews with all informants. Supporting data obtained based on observation and registration. After collecting data, then the data is analyzed by reducing data. Based on the results of the study that students wear on campus aims only for showing self-image and follow campus regulations only. Meanwhile, students in nightclubs is more comfortable and be themselves. In this study shows the facts of the front stage and the backstage of clubbers students. Therefore students who likes to go to club make things according to the arrangements that have been made.
