- Turnover intention is a tendency to leave an occupation or organization. Job satisfaction is thought to be able to reduce turnover intention. Locus of internal control is related to job satisfaction and turnover intention. This study aims to test internal locus of control as a moderator on the relationship of job satisfaction with turnover intention. This study uses quantitative methods. The data was obtained by using turnover intention questionnaire, job satisfaction, and internal locus of control, with purposive sampling technique. This subject of this research were 161 employees from civil servant and private sector. Data analysis using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of this study indicate that internal locus of control cannot reduce the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention.
