  • This research was conducted with a duration of 30 days, starting from September 18, 2018 to October 17, 2018 in the Management of Fisheries Marine Resources Development (P2SKP) Muncar, Banyuwangi, East Java. The method used in this study is a survey method with a case study. The object taken in this study was Purse seine fishing gear in Fisheries Marine Resource Development Management (P2SKP) Muncar, Banyuwangi, East Java. The data that has been collected is then analyzed to determine the effect of the net length and size of the vessel on the Purse seine tool on fish production in Fisheries Resource Development Management (P2SKP) Muncar Banyuwangi. The analysis technique in this research is descriptive method by describing or describing the results of research obtained in the field. The results showed that the length of the net used in Purse seine fishing gear in the P2SKP area (Kedung Rejo) Muncar was between 200 to 400 meters with an average of 250 meters in length. Furthermore, the size of the Purse seine used in Kedung Rejo Muncar is between 10 and 40 GT, with the average size of the vessel being used with a length of 27 GT. Then the catch of purse seine fishing gear in the P2SKP area (Kedung Rejo) Muncar in the form of fly fish (Decapterus macarellus), mackerel (Restrelliger brachysoma), lemuru fish (Sardinella lemuru), tembang fish (Sardinella gibbosa), tuna (Allothunnus fallai) and petek fish (Leiognathus aureus) with a catch between 6,000 kg to 32,256 kg and an average of 17,810 kg.
