- Mayangan Beach is indicated by heavy metal pollution seen from its physical, chemical and biological characteristics. Identification of the level of heavy metal pollution and changes in water bodies can use sediments and marine biota such as kerang lentera (Lingula unguis). The purpose of this study was to determine the levels of lead metal (Pb) in sediments and kerang lentera (Lingula unguis), to know the lead metal (BCF) bioconcentration factor (Pb) and to know the difference in levels of heavy metal lead (Pb) in sediments and kerang lentera (Lingula unguis) and also to find out the theoretical study of the results of this study. The type of research used is descriptive analytical with a quantitative approach. Sampling in this study uses simple random sampling with the roaming method. The results showed that the highest levels of lead metal (Pb) in the sediment at station 2 were 14.08 μ / g. The level of heavy metal lead (Pb) in kerang lentera (Lingula unguis) was highest at station 5 which was 1.41 μ / g. The bioconcentration factor (BCF) in sediment and kerang lentera (Lingula unguis) is 0.4 μ / g, and there are also significant differences in levels of heavy metal lead (Pb) in sediments and kerang lentera(Lingula unguis), which is 21,363. The levels of heavy metals in sediments can be categorized as high while the levels of heavy metals in kerang lenteracan be categorized as low. This research can be used as a source of learning biology.
