  • Background: Pain is in illustration of sensory and emotional experiences related to damage to potentially damaged tissue or disability, depression and anxiety. LBP sufferers who wxperience feeling of pain or pain can also be affected. Pain intensity is also associated with physical and psychological consequences, for example experiencing sleep disturbances. Pain experienced by LBP sufferers with more sleep distubances compared with patients who experienced LBP without sleep disturbance. Purpose : To determine the The Relationship of Pain Intensity with Sleep Quality in Low Back Pain (LBP) Potential Patients at Dinoyo Health Center Malang City Research Method: The study design was cross sectional using purposive sampling design. The study population was patients in the Dinoyo Health Center Malang City. A total sample of 70 respondents including inclusion and exclusion. Data analysis test using Chi Square Test. Results and Discussion: Based on the results of the Chi Square Test shows that the body mass index (BMI) and the potential for low back pain get a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Conclusion: There is a correlation between body mass index (BMI) and the potential of low back pain in patients in Dinoyo Health Center Malang City.
