- The aim of this study is to identify and explain the role of children in supporting the children-friendly district program in the Omah Sinau Community in Malang Regency. Then the role of the community that is ready to move is needed to support the Child-Friendly District program through child-based activities. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The research was conducted by community coordinators, youth/teenagers around the community, community societies, children who are involved directly, village officials, and the DP3A head of Malang district. Data collection is done by interviews, observations, and documentation methods. The researcher is the main instrument in this study through interviews, observation, and document guidelines. Analyses data, data reduction, data viewing, and data verification techniques are used. The test of validity is triangulated by the source triangulation and method. The results showed: the role of the Omah Sinau in supporting children worthy district programs in the Malang province, namely the role of information sources, facilitator roles, and education roles. The Omah Sinau community’s program of activities to support children’s programs includes volunteers, foreign language courses, dance schools, batik classes, science courses, mobile libraries, and social enterprise classes. The Child-Friendly District program is supported by the Omah Sinau community to make it is future a child-friendly village through child-oriented community activities.
