  • Thematic learning is integreated leaving that provides hand on experience to student. grade II students primary school of Muhammadiyah 5 Malang is very difficult to understand something abstract like learning mathematics. The students can read but to understand something abstract like learing mathematics. The students can read but to understand the meaning of reading is still difficult. Students learning motivation is still less. the aims of this study is to produce products in the from of media that can attract student attention and improve the quality of student learning in thematic learning activities. The media developed is a media Papan Deskripsi Lubang Hitung (PADE LUTUNG), The theme is playing in my environment, the sub-theme is playing in the school enviroment in grade II elementary school. This research and development uses the ADDIE theory model, there are analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The research subject use were grade II students primary school of Muhammadiyah 5 Malang with total of 11 students. The study was conducted in the 2018/2019 school year. Data collection technic used are interviews, preliminary, observations, validator questionaries, students respons questionaries and observation of student learning activities. The result of the study used media Papan Deskripsi Lubang Hitung (PADE LUTUNG) carried out in grade primary school 2 of Muhammadiyah 5 Malang after reition the percentage of media expert validators was 82% with a valid categories. The result of the percentages from the experts on thematic learning material after being resived were 92% with very valid categories. The effectifitas of the media is seen from the observation of students learning activites witha percentage of 86,5% and from the evaluation of students learning outcomes which show the average students gets a score above the KKM. So that the completeness of the percentage of 82% in the very effecive categories. The percentage of students response questionaries is 90% with very interesting categories. means that students are interested in the media Papan Deskripsi Lubang Hitung (PADE LUTUNG) in thematic learning.
