- The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of parking tax in the city of Malang and to determine the effectiveness of receipt of parking retribution on increasing local revenue in the city of Malang. There are three main component parts in this study, namely; Potential Taxes, Parking Retribution and Effectiveness. The components used in this study are quantitative data on calculating the parking tax effectiveness level in Malang City as well as data regarding the target and realization of parking tax and Regional Original Revenue in Malang City from 2012 to 2017. The result of this study indicate that there is an increase in tax potential parking available in Malang City from 2012 to 2017 and then the result of analysis of the effectiveness of parking retribution receipts on increasing local revenue in Malang City showed a tendency to increase.
