- Industries in the developing countries monitored their material requirements using an inefficient conventional manual system. The manual system caused the production disrupted and the work system took a considerable amount of time. The purpose of this writing is to make companies easier in monitoring material requirements and improving their production system. From the explanation before, therefore, web-based material requirements monitoring applications is designed to optimize company production. This designed system was developed to monitor web-based material requirements that are able to recognize material requirements and when material must be delivered. This information is stored in a database which is connected via a web server. The data from this system can be used to monitor inventories of materials on the workstation and to place orders or to procure from the material that is lacking to produce train's air conditioning. The web-based material requirements monitoring system has been able to find out the material requirements at the workstation and when the material is sent. Based on the analysis and testing of material requirements monitoring applications, the conclusion showed that this applications can be used. The usage applied at each work station and can facilitate the operator to notify the work station to send the material used to the work station by displaying notifications on the web screen.
