  • Based on the requirement analysis from observation and interview on November 13, 2018 at SDN Sitiarjo 04, shows that student learning motivation is still low. This is due to the lack of learning facilities and infrastructure.Teaching materials used are only textboos from the ministry and so far the teacher only applies lecture methods that are monotonous and not attracting students' attention in participate learning activities.This research purposed to: (1) describe of Bukatif (Buku Edukasi Kreatif) development thematic learning theme “Merawat Hewan dan Tumbuhan” for second grade of Elementary School, (2) describe student’s responses to Bukatif (Buku Edukasi Kreatif) development thematic learning theme “Merawat Hewan dan Tumbuhan” for second grade of Elementary School This research uses development research and development model of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subject of this research is students in second grade of SDN Sitiarjo 04. This research carried out in March 2019. Data collection technique in this research used interview, observation, documentation, and questionnaire. Data analysis technique use anlysis data descriptive qualitatif and quantitatif. The result shows: (1) Bukatif (Buku Edukasi Kreatif) development through validation stage by teaching material expert, material expert, and learning expert stated that teaching material has very proper critaria, very valid, and require revision as recommended. Proper precentage of teaching material by teaching material expert Bukatif (Buku Edukasi Kreatif) is 93%, material expert is 79%, and learning expert is 96%. (2) The results of student’s responses to Bukatif (Buku Edukasi Kreatif) obtained 90% with very good criteria.
