- The process of submitting the thesis title in UMM Informatics Engineering is done manually and requires several steps until the thesis title is received. Obstacles were seen when researchers conducted observations and interviews with several students and lecturers. These problems require a web submission of thesis title to facilitate students, this research builds a prototype web interface design with User Centered Design (UCD) approach, this method involves users from the initial stages of design, implementation to evaluation to produce maximum user interface and functionality and have good usability value. After the design was carried out, the interface design was assessed using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), by distributing the UEQ questionnaire to 30 participants, the overall prototype interface design produced very good value in terms of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation and novelty. This proves that involving users in the design process will produce a product that meets the needs of users and has a good user experience value.
