- Research Background: Stress and blood pressure are part of non-communicable diseases. Both of these conditions have a detrimental effect on the health of the elderly so in preventing the emergence of physical diseases that begin with stress conditions of the elderly, it is necessary to analyze correlation between level of stress and blood pressure. In addition to knowing the correlation between the two terms, it is also needed to prevent and reduce stress-triggering factors that can worsen the health conditions in the elderly.Purpose of the study:To find out the correlation between stress levels and blood pressure in the elderly at Pandanwangi Maternal And Child health services Blimbing Malang City.Research Methods: The study used the Descriptive Corelational method with the Cross Sectional approach. The study was conducted from December 26, 2018 - January 26, 2019. The population of elderly in Pandanwangi Maternal And Child health services are 169 people. The technique of taking respondents uses purposive sampling, the elderly who are included in the inclusion criteria and can reach respondents in this study are 62 people. The study was conducted with a span of 1 month following the schedule of the elderly in Mternal and Child Health Services respondents were given a stress questionnaire and continued with blood pressure measurements carried out by the researcher. The instrument of this study used a DASS questionnaire of 42 stress scales and sphymomanometers. Data analysis using Kolmogorov-Smirnov Normality Test and Spearman Rho Correlation Test.Results:Based on the calculation results of the Spearman Rho Correlation Test the value (Sig.2-tailed = 0.000) with a correlation level of 0.736. The results showed that sig. 2-tailed p <0.05. It can be concluded that there was a correlation between stress levels and blood pressure in the elderly at Pandanwangi Maternal And Child health services, Blimbing Malang City with a strong correlation level.Conclusion: There is a strong correlation between stress levels and blood pressure in the elderly at Pandanwangi Maternal And Child health services, Blimbing, Malang City
