  • Wages are an important role and even wages can be said to be the main goal of a worker doing work for another person or legal entity. To ensure that people who work for wages that are not too rending do not get to the point where workers are demanding wages that are too burdensome for the company, the state has the authority to make rules regarding wages. This study aims to determine the implementation of Regency / City Minimum Wages (UMK) for workers at PT. Murni Jaya Sentosa in Sidoarjo Regency based on Governor Regulation Number. 75 year 2017 concerning Regency / City Minimum Wages in East Java in 2018 and to find out what factors influence the wages of workers at PT. Murni Jaya Sentosa. This study uses a sociological juridical method. The results of this study found that wages received by workers at PT. Murni Jaya Sentosa is still getting Rp. 1,500,000 to Rp. 3,500,000. In this case it is still below the minimum wage set by Governor Regulation Number 75 year 2017 which is Rp. 3,577,428, - for the Sidoarjo Regency. Then the factors that influence the company in providing wages to its workers in accordance with the most important UMK are the financial capacity of the company whose growth and development has not been stable.
