Daftar Isi:
- This legal paper explains the problems related to law enforcement for violations of the prohibition on selling places carried out by street vendors. Aimed to find out and examine how law enforcement violates the prohibition of selling places carried out by street vendors and constraints in law enforcement for violating the prohibition of selling street vendors in terms of Article 4 Letter (a) jo Article 9 Regional Regulation of Batu City Number 5 of 2005 concerning the Arrangement and Control of Street Vendors. The research method used in this legal research approach method is juridical sociology, meaning that the study is carried out on the real situation of the community or community environment with the intent and purpose of finding facts, which then leads to identification and ultimately leads to problem solving. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The technical data collection is by observation, interview, literature study, and internet. Based on the results of research and discussion, law enforcement for violations of the prohibition on selling places carried out by street vendors has been carried out repressive actions by giving letters of warning, warning letters 1 and 2, and imposed as a minor criminal case (tipiring). Then the obstacles in law enforcement over violations of the prohibition on selling by the street vendors are still found many obstacles in law enforcement. The Civil Service Police Unit (Public Order Enforces) of Batu City coordinates with the Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, and Trade Office in providing socialization and guidance to street vendors. The conclusion regarding the law enforcement of street vendors carried out by law enforcement offic¬ers, namely the Public Order Enforces, is still not effective in its implementation, and it is expected that Public Order Enforces often conducts socialization and guidance to street vendors so that they understand the Regional Regulations that applied in Batu City.
