- This research is a research which is developing a thematic teacing media that used for 1st grade of elementary school named Almari Pintar. This teaching media used for my hobby with sport as a subtheme. The trial of this teaching media is on SDN Mojolangu 5 Malang. This research aimed to (1) Describe the Almari Pintar (2) To know the effectiveness of Almari Pintar. This research used R&D method with ADDIE development model. The source of the study is 1st grade student of SDN Mojolangu 5 Malang 2018/2019 that consist of 27 students. This research has been done in second term in March 1st until 4th 2019. Observation, interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation are used to collect the data. The data will be processed to be qualitative dan quantitative. The quantitative is to know the effectiveness and the validity. While the qualitative is to summarize the data. The result of this study show that, through evaluation using Almari Pintar is effective. It is proved by the mean of the score is 90,8. The result from expert is 96,9% that is very good to be used as a teaching media. The result of aspect of assessment by learning material experts are 83,9% with very good. The result from 27 respondents is 98% that tell this teaching media is interesting, benefical, motivated, and ease the learning. The weakness is the difficulty of the puzzle, Students hope it will make more simple to ease them constructing the puzzle. The teacher can use it to teach and it needs to developed more to make it efficient.
