- The research in this paper relates to the application of the principles of Good Pension Fund Governance at the Pension Fund of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang and the issues raised related to the application of the Good Pension Fund Governance principle to the Pension Fund governance guidelines of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang in terms of Article 3 of the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 16 / POJK.05 / 2016 concerning Guidelines for Pension Fund Management and is there an inhibiting factor in expecting the principles of Good Pension Fund Governance. The research in this paper uses Jurisdiction Sociological methods, using primary data which includes interviews and document studies in the Pension Fund of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, secondary data includes legislation and literature literature that supports this writing. Data collection techniques and data analysis using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the results of research and discussion shows that in applying the principles of Good Pension Fund Governance in the Pension Fund of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang is less effective and the internal factors of the Pension Fund are obstacles to the application of these principles. Although the principle of the Good Pension Fund Governace contained in article 3 of the Financial Services Authority Regulation concerning Pension Fund Management Guidelines has been set forth in the Pension Fund Management (PPTK) Rules of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Employees with the addition of the principles of Ethics and Behaviors that are felt to be supporting the implementation of the principle Good Pension Fund Governance. Suggestions, Pension Funds more often conduct self-evaluations and make use of available facilities and infrastructure.
