- In the industrial world the application of manual work systems is still widely applied especially in manufacturing jobs. In manual work, complaints of pain often arise in parts of the body, this is caused by fatigue working in an unnatural position for a long time and if ignored it will cause musculoskeletal diorders. From the results of the distribution of the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) questionnaire to 4 operators and the results of observer questionnaires on 4 operators and 8 work stations. These meubel workers often feel pain in the shoulder / arm, wrist, neck and back, this is because the work position of the worker adjusts the location of the work object causing unnatural working attitudes such as being too bent and too bent so it is quite prone to musculoskeletal diorders. The results of the analysis and calculation that the assembly work and installation of door details have a high exposure level, therefore a proposed improvement is needed on the type of work in the form of adding a work desk to improve the work position on the furniture.
