- PT JNE is a company that engaged in the field of goods in Indonesia, some customers used PT JNE because they believe that the shipping package will safely reach the destinations. How is the legal protection for senders of lost or damaged parcel packages, what are the factors that obstacles and support the implementing legal protection to senders if there is a loss or damage to the shipping package at PT JNE Pakisaji Malang Regency. The researcher uses a sosiological juridical approach method, which is legal research that starts from the primary data that can be obtained directly from the community through field research. Legal protection for senders of PT JNE regarding damage or downstream shipping package is still weak and it is still difficult to get compensation. It has proved that there are still many senders who suffer from losses in the from of lost or damaged shipping packages, whereas in the 2009 Transportations’ Law it was explained that the carrier have to maintain the safety of goods from the moment of the beginning goods are received until the goods are delivered to their destination. Constraints and supporting factors in implementing consumers’ proctection, the obstacle factors is the lack of maximum socialization of consumers’ rights in the applicablr law. The slow handling of claims by businessmen while supporting factors are the existence of regulations governing consumer protection such as Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning senders protection, regulations relating to the transportation of goods and/ or services in article 468 paragraph (1) KUHD
