- Aggressive behavior performed by students increase from year to year. It is caused by several factors such as social support and self-regulation are low. This study aims to investigate the influence of social support and self-regulation of the aggressiveness teenager from a broken home family. This study uses a quantitative research with descriptive and correlational research design. The research subjectswere 196 people (117 male and 79 female) students of grade X SMK Negeri 4 Malang. Data were collected using The Social Support Questionnare (SSQ) to measure social support, The Self-Regulation questionnare (SRQ) to measure self-regulation, and The Aggression questionnare (AQ) to measure the aggressiveness of adolescents. Data analysis is done by multiple linear regression showed that the significant effect of social support and self-regulation of the aggressiveness of adolescents (F = 26.282, p = 0.000). The contribution of social support and self-regulation on the adolescent aggressiveness were 21.4%. Moreover the analysis shows a significant negative influence between the variables of social support on adolescent aggression (β = -0.282; p = 0.000), and their significant negative influence between the self-regulation variables on the adolescents aggressiveness (β = -0.326; p = 0.000).
