  • A bridge is one of the road infrastructures with a construction that functions as traffic connector when the roads are disconnected by swamp, river, strait, lake, pathway, channel, or other obstacles. One of the kinds of bridge is a truss bridge. A truss bridge is made of connected frameworks. It basically is a combination of elements forming stable triangles. Along with the development of technology, the cold-formed steel was invented. It is a material made by rolling conventional steel at relatively low temperatures. This study aimed to analyse the strength of the cold-formed steel bridge for pedestrian. As planned, the bridge used the deck-typed truss with the length of 4,5 metre and the width of 0,9 meter. The loading was applied at the middle span of the bridge with the weight of 400 kg. Based on the analysis using the StaadPro V8i, the maximum deflection of the bridge was 1,856 mm with the bridge total weight of 74,141 kg. Meanwhile, based on the field analysis, the maximum deflection was 3,80 mm with the bridge total weight of 72,581 kg. the allowed maximum deflection was 15 mm.
