  • Background: Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternatifolia) with the content of terpinen-4-ol Chemotype is one of the typical Australian herbs used as an alternative medicine for acne treatment. Niacinamide is a chemical compound derived from animal and vegetable sources that have various properties, the benefits of niacinamide are removing acne scars and anti-acne. Tea Tree and niacinamide need to be developed in a new products to be easily used for the society. In this research combination of the two will be made in the form of a peel-off mask with variations in the levels of PVA (Polvinyl alcohol). Purpose: This research aims to study the antibacterial of Peel-off Mask combination Tea Tree Oil and Niacinamide with variations in levels (Polyinyl alcohol) to the growth of Propionibacterium acne bacteria. Method: Antibacterial Test of Peel-off Mask combination Tea Tree Oil and Niacinamide with variations in the levels of PVA (Polyinyl alcohol) on the growth of Propionobacterium acne bacteria carried out in vitro using the well method. Results and conclusions: The results showed that the increase in PVA levels did not affect the antibacterial activity of Peel-off Mask Combination Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternatifolia) and niacinamide with variations in levels of PVA (Polvinyl alcohol)
