- This study examines the causes of the occurrence of Children Stunting which is a problem for a person in fulfilling nutritional nutrition in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that led to the occurrence of children stunting and how to program the Toddler Family Development (BKB) in preventing the occurrence of Children Stunting in Wonoayu Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive types. The subjects in this study were the head of the Toddler Family Development Program (BKB), the Chair of the Cadre and the Toddler family. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. While the technique in this study is Purposive. The data analysis techniques in this study include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that many factors led to Children Stunting, one of which was the lack of awareness of parents in fulfilling nutritional status in the growth and development of children. This can be seen from the habit of providing nutritious food. The factors that cause the occurrence of Stunting Children include: malnutrition, environmental factors, low birth weight, poor economic conditions, lack of maternal knowledge about nutritional health before and during pregnancy and after giving birth.
