- In the sense to encourage student to achieve an optimal result, self-efficacy , it shapes an optimistic sense for planning and doing an action in order to achieve a goal. However in the fact, many of students have low self-efficacy. They have minimum effort to learn. Hence, psychodrama could be one of the best methods in this case. The purpose of this study is to discover the effectiveness of psychodrama in the sense of boosting self-efficacy among student. Quasi experiment is applied in the form of the research design using control group pre-test and post-test design model for assessing 30 students of seventh-grader Public Junior High School 1 Batu. Interview and self-efficacy scale of learning process are employed for data collection. By using Mann – Whitney and 2 Wilcoxon test (Z = -2,596; p = 0,009) for data analyzing, the result shows that psychodrama is recommended in technique to increasing self-efficacy among Junior High School students.
