- Competition in the increasingly tight business world has changed the company's paradigm of logistics. PT. Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Gresik Biscuit Division is a food and beverage industry in Indonesia. The company makes product shipments on request from each Distribution Center. In its implementation, the company has implemented one software to assist companies in planning and carrying out operational activities more efficiently and effectively. However, the problems that occur in the company have high product shipping costs and cause the cost of each DC supply issued is quite large. Distribution Requirement Planning is a development method of Material Requirement Planning in distribution inventory. The goal is to be able to balance inventory in warehouses with erratic DC demand in each period so as to prevent lost sales. Next the researchers calculated the distribution costs for each DC to calculate the total distribution costs.
