  • Background : Temperament is the attitude style which is having by the children who described the difference of individual about emotional intensity. The one factor of the children temperaments that can growht well is about parenting parent that can handling the children temperaments in which without an understanding the parent about how the parenting will get the bad impact at the environment. The method of The research : This study is using correlational descriptive design with cross sectional approach. The population are student and parent at state kindergarten Malang with the amount of sample are 71 students and parents that using sampling total. Collecting data is using questionnaire and Chi square test. Result : There 45,1 % the childrens have emotionality temperament and 40,8 % of parents have authoritative parenting. An analysis result of data Chi Square test in general that was obtained a significant result of 0,019 (p<0,05) that means there are relation of parenting parent with the children temperament at state kindergarten Malang. Conclusion : Based on the study result is showing that student temperament which significant with parenting who given by parent will be impact by age factor, gender, last education, and parent job.
