HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEJADIAN SIBLING RIVALRY DENGAN PERNIKAHAN DINI DI POSYANDU DESA WAJAK KECAMATAN WAJAK KABUPATEN MALANG

- Background: Early married mothers have a low level of maturity in attitudes, mindsets, and experiences, including during child care. Whereas in parenting, the role of parents is very important. Therefore, for mothers who marry early, the incidence of sibling rivalry is very likely to occur seeing the ability and knowledge of mothers who are still lacking. The aims of this study is to find out the relationship between the incidence of sibling rivalry and early marriage at Posyandu in Wajak Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency Methods: This study used a non-experimental research design with a retrospective approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 67 samples. Data collection used sibling rivalry questionnaire and early marriage. Secondary data also used to support data regarding early marriage. The statistical analysis used in this study is Chi Square Test with significance p <0.05. Results: The results of the study showed that most children experienced sibling rivalry with a moderate category and more than half of the respondents' mothers got married at a young age. The statistical test analysis showed that there was a relationship between the incidence of sibling rivalry and early marriage with a significance value in the SPSS 16.0 statistical test (p = 0.042). Conclusion: Sibling rivalry events are influenced by age, birth distance and gender and early marriage that occurs in parents is influenced by educational level factors. It can be conclude that there is a relationship between the incidence of sibling rivalry and early marriage at the Posyandu in Wajak Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency
