- The purpose of this study was to minimize meanterdiness. By implementing the metaheuristic method, it is a firefly algorithm that is used to determine the sequence of jobs. Which is applied to hybrid flow shop with 4 stages. Where on stage 2.3 has the same two types of machines and in stage 4 has the same 3 machines. The results of the study can show that the firefly algorithm is considered better than the EDD algorithm and FCFS.
