- BCBC X-48 PR is a product of PT Malindo Intitama Raya that requests in large quantities than the same product every month. BCBC X-48 PR in its production there is a lot of waste on its production line. The purpose of this study was to minimize waste on BCBC X-48 PR production lines. This study uses the Lean Sixsigma approach and uses value stream mapping to map the flow of information processes and materials, the value stream mapping maps from raw materials to finished products that are ready to be sent to consumers. After mapping using value stream mapping it is known that the lead time on the production line is 11,801 seconds. Furthermore, identifying waste to find out the dominant waste on the production line using the questionnaire method, and the results are waiting, overproduction, defects, and unnecessary inventory. By using a fault tree analysis (FTA), the basic causes can be found in each dominant waste on the production line. To minimize waste, given an improvement proposal using Teorya Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ) based on the causes in each waste. By providing improvement proposals, it is hoped that minimizing waste can reduce the lead time on the production line to 2,760 seconds.
