  • Poverty is one of the problems in a complex economy. There for it is necessary to find a solution to overcome or reduce poverty. This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of Education, Economic Growth and Unemployment on Poverty in the District / City of East Java Province. This study uses secondary data from the East Java Statistic Center 2015. The results of this study indicate that first, education has a positive and significant impact on economic growth, the direct impact is 0.2370. Both education on unemployment had a positive but not significant impact, the direct impact was 0.0166 and the indirect impact was 0.0317. All three education on poverty have a negative and significant impact, the direct impact is 0.0,7174 and indirect impact is 0.2421. The four economic growths against unemployment have a negative and significant impact, the direct impact is 0.2560. The five economic growths on poverty have a negative and significant impact, the direct impact is 0.3237 and the indirect impact is 0.0915. The six unemployed against poverty have a positive and significant impact, the direct impact is 0.1011.
