- Television become one of the political media recently used, besides television role still become a voters’ references for knowing leader candidate, in this case for local television. One of city held the governor electoral in 2018 was East Java, which Khofifah Indar Parawangsa-Emil Dardak versus Saifullah Yusuf-Puti Guntur Soekarno. The pers required to be objective, accurate, and balances to shown the news, but the television have a weakness for shown the news’ fact literally unless pro of the one side. This study aims to find out about news neutrality for governor electoral in a local television East Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descrptive content analysis method. Researcher used sampling which total sampling included the news of governor electoral in East Java 2018 in a news programme Pojok Pitu JTV since 15th February until 23th June 2018. The object research total 40 news which used news item analitic. Furthermore, the researcher devides objectivity of concept in these categories; type coverage, news factuality and candidate described. The result of this study indicate news programme Pojok Pitu JTV for publishing the governor electoral news in East Java 2018 is anuetrality, the news pro for one candidate. Which seem from majority positive news for Khofifah-Emil, otherwise majority negative news for Saifullah Yusuf-Puti Guntur Soekarno. Besides, Pojok Pitu JTV dominate one side coverage. The pro news caused a inequality in social real life which very close with idology and needs for win.
