- Most popular ornamental plants for buyers are broccoli and rombusa, because this type of ornamental plant is very good and the maintenance is also quite easy, unlike other ornamental plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure of the costs of planting and maintaining broccoli and rombusa ornamental plants and to analyze the comparative advantages of farming from broccoli and rombusa ornamental plants. The location of this study was determined intentionally (purposive sampling) with the consideration that in Terate Banjarejo Hamlet was the center of businessmen, farmers, and sales of ornamental plants that had been well known for a long time in Kediri Regency and Kediri Residency. This research is a qualitative (descriptive) and quantitative research. The results of the analysis can be seen that the total cost of rombusa farming with 47 farmers is Rp. 50971157. Production of rombusa is 359.15pot at a price of Rp. 5000 / Kg. The advantage of rombusa plants is Rp. 740473.81. R / C ratio of 1.70 and these results are feasible. The total cost of brokolid farming with respondents 47 farmers is Rp. 51946741. Production of broccoli plants amounted to 379.15pot at a price of Rp. 5,000 / Kg. The advantage of broccoli plants is Rp. 790494.87. R / C ratio is 1.71 according to (Sunarjono) which is feasible. Based on the results of the Independent Sample t-test, the probability is 0.047 which means that <0.05 (probability <0.05) pobability value <0.05 then H0 rejected. Based on these results, it can be said that farm income between rombusa ornamental plant farmers and broccoli ornamental plants farmers is different.
