Daftar Isi:
- Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that can occur to anyone, including children. PTSD is a stress reaction after a traumatic event such as an earthquake, landslide etc. Resilience is an individual's resilience when in a stressful situation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving resilience intervention through play therapy to reduce PTSD. This study was an experimental study with a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were elementary school students totaling 20 people and aged 12-13 years who had symptoms of PTSD after the earthquake in NTB. The instrument used is Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale 10 (CDRISC 10) and the children's revised impact of event scale (CRIES-13). Data analysis using non-parametric analysis, namely Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitnney test. The analysis found a significant decrease in PTSD (Z = -3.82, p = 0.000). It can be concluded that increasing resilience through play therapy is an effective approach to treat PTSD.
