Plastic is one form of garbage that composes national level waste. Every year more than 260 million tons of plastic are produced in the world. Plastic waste can be degraded completely with a very long time, so a study is needed to reduce the accumulation of plastic waste. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of plastic breaker bacteria, determine the tolerance level of isolates to plastic precursor stresses, determine the potential of isolates in synthesizing phytohormones, and determine the potential of isolates in synthesizing specific metabolites that play a role in tolerance of isolates to plastic precursors. The stages of this research include taking soil samples from landfill, tool and media sterilization, growing media preparation (M63 and Lactose Broth), TPA soil bacterial isolation, identifying bacterial colonies, making stock culture, gram staining test, biodegradation test on a level, biofertilizer test using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry MS(GC-MS), and analyzed descriptively (images, graphs and tables). Based on the results of the study, diversity variables found 14 different types of bacteria in terms of bacterial morphology. The seven isolates had environmental tolerance containing 100% plastic precursors. The isolates obtained were able to synthesize compounds: α Aminobutyric acid (C4H9NO2) 1,15% for control and 1,20% for treatment, 3 Indoleacetic acid (C10H9NO2) 1,90% for control and 1,85% for treatment, Kinetin (C10H9N5O) 1,11% for control and 1,16% for treatment, N6 Benzyladenine 9 glucoside (C18H21N5O5) 1,26% for control and 1,31% for treatment, Kinetin glucoside (C16H19N5O7) 1,13% for control and 1,19% for treatment which acts as fitohormone.
