- The background of this study is the slippers small-scale industry in Wedoro village, Waru district in Sidoarjo district. In this case the slippers industry there is one of the income source of Wedoro village. At that time, Indonesia is facing the monetary crisis and it affects in the bankruptey of some companies so that one of the urgent thing to do is by firing some workers. In this case, this slippers industry s proven to decrease the number of unemployment and it especially add the society's income of Wedoro's village since the workers there are mostly the Wedoro's villagers surrounding the neighbourhood. The level of income of this small-scale industry is relatively different. It really depends on the numbers of the customers each shop has. The materials of slippers and the model and the design are various. They are made of sponge and synthetic leather. The design of the slippers is adapted with the current trend. The data used are primary one, in this case the data are gotten directly from the researched objects. And the data are also gotten by filling out the questionnaire by its respondents. The analysis tool used is descriptive quantitative as well by using tabulation
