USULAN PERBAIKAN EFEKTIVITAS MESIN X DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE (TPM) (Studi Kasus CV Indah Cemerlang)

- CV Indah Cemerlang is a manufacturing industry located in Singosari, Malang. It produces paving, brick, and buis concrete. This industry must achieve production targets in a normal or standard capacity of machines for each day. The problem is that the multiblock SB306 machine suddenly stops working. It happens continually. Therefore, a solution needs to be initiated and examined to solve the problem. Applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method and calculating OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) are expected to be able to reduce risk and improve the machine productivity. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) will be used to analyse the failure. The highest number of RPN (Risk Priority Number) will be proposed to solve the problem of multiblock SB306. The result of OEE calculation by multiplying the availability rate of 98.14%, performance rate of 79.31%, and quality rate of 99.72% is 77.62%. It is still below standard value of JIPM (The Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance) which is 85%. Thus, using the highest number of RPN is suggested to find solutions.
