- This research reviewing about social assistance for children victims of family violence, study in DP3AP2KB and the field of protection of women and children in Malang City by focusing on social assistance for children victims of family violence, benefits obtained in assisting child violence in the family, and the impact of assistance in the protection of women and children. This research used descriptive qualitative research where the research data is based on data found in the field. The subject of this study was the Chairperson of the field protection of women and children and counselors. Data collection methods used observation in P2TP2A in handling assistance, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are the data collection, data reduction, data display stage or data display, and conclusions. The results of the study is : 1) assistance accompanied by P2TP2A to restore and improve the quality and self-confidence of the children even after experiencing violence, the children must always be accompanied and meet their needs in order to obtain their rights ; 2) with the assistance of children and families to make them aware and provide understanding with the existing child violence law ; 3) provide socialization of children for families so they can understand about children needs and can fulfill their expectations to develop ; 4) the mentoring role that is accompanied is adjusted based on the needs of the child in providing protection and providing needs in the community.
