  • The history of the development of democracy in Indonesia is inherent in every policy held by the government, be it political, economic, legal, social and cultural policies. It is interpreted as the principle of participation or involvement directly or indirectly towards the development or management of Village Funds organized by the government. Dynamics happened in the village, after the enactment of law No. 6 of 2014 concerning villages, became a new agenda of the government and law enforcement officers to analyze the problems of village fund management. Almost all Dompu local media contain allegations of abuse of the Village Fund. This is due to the lack of community participation in the management of the Village Fund, so that the government will have many opportunities to deviate the Village Fund. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Sabjek from this study were village heads, village secretaries, village treasurers, Village Consultative Bodies (BPD), and 10 villagers. Community participation in Village Fund management for the 2017 fiscal year at the planning, implementation and accountability stages reaches 70%. But 30% of people who do not participate remain a problem and obstacle in maximizing Village Fund management. Overall, community participation in the 2017 Village Fund management in the village of Guava is quite good. Actor have maximized community participation in the stages of managing the Village Fund with a participation rate of 70%. To maximize community participation in the management of the Village Fund, the village government increased the resources of the village apparatus and the village community through training and outreach on Village Fund management.
