- The purpose of this study is to see the student's Thinking Structure while defragmenting process of thinking students who experienced a pseudo thinking. This research approach was qualitative research with this type of approach is descriptive. The subject of research is the grade IX of the Lembaga Bina Mandiri Tulungagung. The subject is taken in the research amounted to three students. Subject retrieval based on the results of tests that have been done. Method of data collection in this research include: sheet sheet tests and the interview question. Then the data is analyzed and described. The results showed (1) think the pseudo in solving tangent circles is a time to understand the problem of students being able to reveal the information known and asked. In the direction of planning problem solving students not being able to mention the plans to be used to solve the problem, only revealing the concept. When carrying out the plan of solving problems students only being able to solve problems using concepts that it thinks is correct in accordance with the example of his teacher. When checked returning students haven't been able to justify the answer is correct. But after getting the restructuring of students can justify their mistakes after understand the concept correctly. (2) The application of defragmenting to students who have pseudo thinking can provide structuring of thinking that is initialy lacking and narrow to broad structure, so students are able to slove mathematics problem with structured and correct.
